Woodvale double murder accused remanded for psych assessment

A man charged with the double murder of a 28-year-old man and his 22-year-old partner is remanded in a psychiatric unit after his condition deteriorated.
The pair were found dead at a double homicide near the popular tourist town of Geelong on June 9.
Dramatic footage showed the man’s victim lying on the ground with his head covered with a blanket, a blood-spattered jacket and the body of his partner wrapped around his neck.
The dead man had been living at the same complex.
A 28-year-old man who was found dead near Geelong has been remanded in the remand home of a man who is accused of killing both the pair.
