We talked about this at length last week about the importance of seeing the “big picture” when it comes to the Houston Rockets, how they have a lot of things to look forward to with the offseason. We also talked about how they’re looking towards the future, and if this offseason was any indicator, they’ve got plenty to look forward to.

Well, Monday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder looked to be a great way to get that big picture perspective. After starting the night off with a win over the New Orleans Pelicans, James Harden and the Rockets (in his 10th game바카라 in the NBA) pulled away with a huge 80 point performance, coming back and making the game a close one in a 99-90 win over the Thunder. We’re going to go over each player’s stat line as it pertained to the “big picture”.

Defensively, we saw James Harden and the Rockets stop the opposition on the boards a huge 91% of the time. That ranks as their 3rd best defensive performance of the season, ahead of only the Toronto Raptors where it came in at 93% with James and Co. forcing 34% of the Thunder’s turnovers. Houston also held the Thunder to a measly 14 points on their 14 turnovers, with their defense allowing them to control the paint as much as they would like the whole game. The Thunder came out and played incredibly efficient basketball, and had one of their worst performances of the season going into the final quarter.

Harden’s offense was good this game. For what it’s worth, he had the most buckets of the team with 19 points per game. Those stats aren’t horrible, but he has to be more efficient on those in the playoffs in order for the Rockets to play a big role in the East. Houston had five different players finish in double figures off t강원출장마사지출장만남he bench, which is impressive for them in the playoffs and against a good opponent that they face a couple times in the regular season.

There’s still a lot of work to be done on the glass, and that’s going to come. Russell Westbrook isn’t a very efficient shooter, but there’s still no stopping him. The Rockets’ defense still needs work on the defensive end, but as we stated back in this article, this was their fourth straight win over the Thunder, and they outscored them 39-10, with seven different players scoring at le여수안마 여수출장안마ast 20 points against them, and two of thos
