Abstract

The detection of cannabis constituents and metabolites in locks is an established procedure to provide proof of contact with cannabis. We present the first evidence that is known declare that applying hemp oil to locks, as aesthetic treatment, may lead to the incorporation of ? 9 -tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabinol (CBN), cannabidiol (CBD) and in one example, the metabolite 11-hydroxy-? 9 -tetrahydrocannabinol (THC-OH). 10 volunteers managed their head hair day-to-day with commercially available hemp oil for a time period of 6 days.
